“Kontrapunktus would like to personally invite you to our FREE livestream concert–The Red Priest: A Portrait of Antonio Vivaldi, premiering on YouTube Live on January 9, 2021 at 7:00pm PST/10:00pm EST. Due to the current climate of our world, we felt that a Virtual Baroque Experience would be the safest way to deliver on our mission to mend divisions through the universal grace and beauty of classical music. 

Our program includes six rarely performed concertos that are a departure of the familiar “Four Seasons” by Italian Baroque composer, Antonio Vivaldi. Presenting his genius in a transcendent light–our performers comprise of some of the finest young classical musicians in the world, hailing from the Colburn School, the Juilliard School, and the USC Thornton School of Music. Experience Vivaldi’s music like never before as we showcase the beauty of the violin within the context of a musical offering that will be nuanced, intimate, and compelling.”
